My name is William Machecourt. Future software engineer and technical coach, I love designing elegant, educational, and robust solutions. My goal is simple: create software experiences that combine performance, clarity, and meaning.
As a WorldSkills coach and juror for the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in the IT Software Solutions for Business skill, I support young talents in achieving technical excellence and adopting good software engineering practices.
I attach great importance to pedagogy and knowledge transmission. For me, technical competence is not enough: you must know how to explain, guide, and make teams more autonomous.
My Vision
I see software development as an art of balance: combining the rigor of architecture with the fluidity of the user experience. Quality code is not only measured by its complexity, but by its ability to evolve and be maintained over time. That is why I consistently apply Clean Code and Clean Architecture principles.
My expertise covers the entire value chain. On the server side, I prioritize the robustness of Java/Spring Boot and the efficiency of databases like PostgreSQL or MongoDB, while ensuring optimal security via Keycloak. On the client side, I bring modern and responsive interfaces to life using Angular and Tailwind CSS, or high-performance mobile apps with Flutter.
But technique alone is not enough. Industrialization is at the heart of my approach: from containerization with Docker to automation via GitHub Actions, I ensure that every deployment is reliable. Coupled with an Agile methodology, this allows me to deliver value quickly while guaranteeing solid foundations for the future.
