Project Genesis

This project was born from a need expressed by the French Federation of Rescue and First Aid (FFSS) of the Rhône, which sought to modernize the management of its rescue interventions. As computer science students in BTS SNIR at Lycée Edouard Branly, we had the opportunity, for our final year project, to put our skills into practice while contributing to an important cause.

The main objective was to develop a mobile application capable of replacing traditional rescue intervention management methods. We worked closely with FFSS members to understand their specific needs, the challenges they faced, and how a digital solution could improve their efficiency in the field.

The project was divided into several phases: user interface design to ensure a fluid and intuitive experience, development of key features such as intervention creation and report management, as well as database integration to store mission and rescuer information.

Throughout development, we emphasized the robustness and reliability of the application, knowing that in the context of rescue interventions, every second counts. We also ensured that the application was easy to use, even for users less familiar with technology.

In the end, this experience allowed us not only to apply our technical knowledge in a concrete project but also to contribute to improving rescue operations within the FFSS, which was extremely rewarding.
